Renovation of a Single-Family House in Madrid

Design (Preliminary Design)

In an existing house, a study that is no longer used frequently is transformed into a small apartment for the owner's daughter. The arrangement of the different spaces and the effective use of the room's potential form the starting point for the design.

The renovation is approached with as few interventions as possible, using abstract materials and clear forms. A Sleep Box serves multiple purposes: it separates and divides the space while incorporating additional functions.

The existing building services are reused for the new bathroom.
