Sportforum Schlaatz
Construction of Two Sports Halls in Potsdam, Germany

Competition, 2020
In collaboration with ERRE and RAUM4142 (Spain)

In Schlaatz, a district of Potsdam, the local sports facilities are being reorganized around a new sports forum. Defining this sports forum is the central focus of the competition.

Our proposal sees the sports forum as a unique opportunity to create a new focal point for the neighbourhood—an identity-forming landmark that directly contributes to the area's regeneration and enhancement.

The circular form is a deliberate design choice. It is intended to strengthen the site's identity and embody the idea of a new centre. The programme is organized in an eccentric arrangement, bringing everyone together at the centre—athletes and non-athletes alike.
